Fiona is a Canadian/Australian who graduated with a physiotherapy degree from University of Toronto in 1994. After a couple years of hospital and private practice experience back in Canada, she ventured to Australia on a “working holiday”, combining some physiotherapy locum jobs, travel and joining local rowing clubs around the country.
Taking her rowing passion to the highest level, Fiona then returned to Canada to compete for her country over several years from 1998-2004 in World Championships and 2 Olympic Games. During this time, she maintained her physiotherapy skills as an athlete treating her teammates and filling locum jobs in Canada and Melbourne, where she would escape the Canadian winters to train. It is during this time where she first started working with Ann and Robin at Kooyong Physiotherapy.
After moving to Australia, getting married and having 3 kids, Fiona joined up with Ann, Robin and Mel and started Spring Physio Gym in 2011. Fiona is passionate about delivering active, patient-centred and goal-driven rehabilitation plans that are the core objective of our services at Spring Physio Gym.
