Sarby graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2009, and spent a number of years working at Monash Health in acute clinical care which ranged from Acute Orthopaedics, Emergency, Cardio respiratory and Women’s Health. She worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons in fracture clinics and in post surgical management and rehabilitation.
Sarby joined our team at Spring and Kooyong in 2012, and achieved accreditation in Pilates within the same year. She strongly practices the combination of manual treatments with the development of a gradual stabilizing and strengthening program for patients with spinal conditions, orthopaedic surgeries and sporting injuries. She has an interest in scoliosis management.
Sarby is also an accredited GLA:D practitioner who specializes in hip and knee Osteoarthritis management. She coordinates the GLA:D program at Spring Physio Gym which involves a specialized prescription of exercises and education to improve pain and function related to hip and knee Osteoarthritis.
She also completed a Masters of Public Health at Melbourne University in 2017 and has a passion for improving health within the community through education and individualized exercise program delivery.
In her spare time Sarby enjoys hiking, walking and cycling and is passionate about encouraging people of all ages to stay active!
