Amelia graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (with
Honours) in 2017, and has gained a range of experience within the UK's National Health Service across
Mucsculoskeletal (MSK), Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Rapid Response and Accident and Emergency
(A&E). Amelia then specialised in post operative MSK injuries as well as utilising her matwork and reformer pilates
qualifications within both clinical and non-clinical settings teaching at various studios across Manchester.
Prior to Amelia's move to Melbourne, Amelia worked as a mine site physiotherapist in Western Australia for a couple
of years whilst working on a postnatal and orthopaedic ward. Amelia has strong focus on deepening patient's
understanding of the underlying physiological processes that have contributed to injury whilst empowering patients
to achieve their goals.
Amelia is committed to ongoing education and has completed training in acupuncture, dry needling, matwork and
reformer pilates and running injuries.
Amelia comes from a sporting background and has represented England in Hockey and Football, Great Britain in Biathle
and the North West in Athletics. Her experience in a range of sports further contribute to her special interest of
sport-related injuries and exercise-based rehab.
When she isn't working, you will probably find Amelia running in circles around a running track, at the gym or in a
hot yoga room/ pilates class or making a mess in the kitchen meal prepping and baking!
